HashKey Exchange has achieved dual verification through SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2.

Hong Kong's largest licensed virtual asset exchange HashKey Exchange today announced that HashKey Custody Services Limited** (hereinafter referred to as "HashKey Exchange") has successfully passed the dual certification of SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2, becoming one of the few companies in the industry to obtain both of these international authoritative certifications. This marks HashKey Exchange's continued progress in compliance and security, providing more reliable enterprise-level digital asset services for individual and institutional investors.

HashKey Exchange has simultaneously obtained two certifications, demonstrating its professional strength and compliance advantages in the digital asset service field. Among them, the SOC 1 Type 2 certification focuses on verifying HashKey Exchange's ongoing control capabilities in financial reporting accuracy, data integrity, and regulatory compliance, while the SOC 2 Type 2 certification confirms its ongoing service capabilities in customer data protection, risk management, and system stability.

According to the audit report, HashKey Exchange's operations have received comprehensive recognition from the auditing agency in terms of applicability and sustainability. The verification process strictly follows the requirements of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' Trust Services Standards TSP Section 100, and through multidimensional testing including system checks and risk assessments, it has been confirmed that HashKey has consistently maintained effective control during the audit period.

It is worth noting that this dual certification complements the existing ISO 27001 information security management system and ISO 27701 privacy information management system of HashKey Exchange, jointly establishing an industry-leading multidimensional Compliance system.

The SOC 1 Type 2 report is prepared in accordance with the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board ( IAASB ) International Standard on Assurance Engagements No. 3402 ( ISAE 3402 ), while the SOC 2 Type 2 report is prepared based on the standards set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Both certifications are issued after independent auditing firms conduct continuous and rigorous monitoring and evaluation of the enterprise, and therefore are widely regarded as the "gold standard" for measuring the compliance operating level of enterprises by global financial institutions.

As of January 31, 2025, HashKey Exchange ranks 7th on Coingecko, making it the highest-ranked licensed virtual asset exchange in Hong Kong.
