Company analysts stated in their relevant reports that Bitcoin is also a "great cryptocurrency", but that Ethereum will start to see interest that it has not seen in a long time.
"Bitcoin is great and we love it. We stand behind our price prediction of 200k dollars for the end of the year. However, interest will begin to shift not only to Bitcoin, which is a store of value, but also to Ethereum, which encompasses the financial innovations offered by blockchain technology."
The company's chief analyst, Gautam Chhugani, pointed to its nature as a "decentralized computer" as the reason for Ethereum's appeal:
