Pudgy Penguins Prepare to Make a Splash in My Neighbour Alice Following Landmark Partnership

Pudgy Penguins are on the move – and they’re waddling straight for Lummelunda, the island archipelago that’s home to My Neighbor Alice. A partnership between the two web3 entertainment giants has broken new ground for interoperability while giving Pudgy holders something to celebrate. All Pudgy holders – as well as those of spin-off collections Lil Pudgys and and Pudgy Rods – have been given a piece of the pie in the new landmass that’s taking shape in MNA.

Pudgies Reach Escape Velocity

Having started life as a PFP collection of 8,888 NFTs, Pudgy Penguins have defied the odds to become a cultural phenomenon. Not only have they transcended crypto, gracing the shelves of Walmart stores in the form of cuddly toys, but they’ve also jumped chains, making it across multiple ecosystems and arriving on new shores intact. But the Lummelunda archipelago is the furthest they’ve swum, and here within the MNA universe, they might have found their forever home.

A lot of work has been put in behind the scenes to complete the Pudgy-MNA integration including porting tens of thousands of penguins complete with their exact traits over to Alice land. As a result, holders of the precious NFTs will be able to step into a world in which their trusty companion is recreated right down to the last little detail.

Quests, Crafts, and Winter Wonders

While cross-chain web3 collaborations aren’t unusual, the MNA-Pudgy collab has an attention to detail that’s unlike anything seen before. No less than 8,888 Pudgy Penguins, 22,222 Lil Pudgys, and 7,399 Pudgy Rods Collections will be integrated into My Neighbor Alice, with each character faithfully brought to life.

Aside from the prospect of being able to take their penguin for a waddle through the Pudgy Land that’s springing to life within MNA, holders will be able to complete exclusive quests and craft exclusive items that they can elect to keep or to sell to other players on the built-in marketplace. While all MNA players are welcome to roam the island world including its new frosty winter wonderland, Pudgy holders will be entitled to prime perks – something to which they’ve grown accustomed without growing complacent.

The partnership has been inked at an ideal time for My Neighbour Alice especially, which is preparing to kick off Chapter One: A New Beginning on June 17. Having the industry’s largest IP brand onboard is a major coup that will bring fresh attention to MNA while simultaneously extending the utility of the Pudgy collections.

With Pudgy Penguins also preparing to make their gaming debut in the form of Pudgy Party, developed by rising web3 studio Mythical Games, the penguins are showing no signs of letting up. And in My Neighbor Alive, they’ve found a vibrant community that’s only too willing to welcome them with open arms. From Pudgy-themed emotes to the recreation of 40,000 items as native 3D assets, the partnership is more than just a box-ticking exercise: it carries real weight that will open the door for further IP integrations within the expanding Alice universe.
