Telegram founder Durov's inheritance distribution: Can children from sperm donation also share 100 million dollars?

Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov plans to leave his vast fortune to his children, including more than a hundred "children" he fathered through sperm donation. If distributed equally, each child would receive at least $100 million in assets.

Pavel Durov's inheritance distribution: All "children" from sperm donation are included.

Telegram billionaire founder Pavel Durov has six children with three different partners. He started sperm donation 15 years ago and stated that he has fathered over 100 babies through this method. In an interview with the French magazine "Le Point", Durov plans to leave his vast fortune to his more than 100 children.

"I want to make it clear that I treat my children equally: some were conceived naturally, while others were born through my sperm donation; they are all my children and will enjoy the same rights."

However, he also stated that he does not want his children to use his property within 30 years.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Durov's net worth is $13.9 billion. If distributed equally, each child can receive at least $100 million in assets.

Durov previously stated that his sperm donation activities have helped over a hundred couples in 12 countries have children. After stopping his donations for many years, at least one IVF clinic still has his frozen sperm stored for anonymous use by families wanting children.

He also plans to make his DNA data public, so that his biological children can find each other more easily. "Of course, there are risks, but I do not regret having been a sperm donor. The shortage of healthy sperm has become an increasingly serious global issue, and I am proud to have contributed to alleviating this problem."

Durov is permitted to go to Dubai to visit his newly born son.

Durov's Telegram has over 1 billion active users, making it one of the most popular messaging applications in the world. Last year, French authorities accused him of being involved in criminal activities on the Telegram app, which Durov denied.

On Thursday, Durov won a ruling that will allow him to travel to Dubai. According to an official from the French Ministry of Justice, starting from July 10, the billionaire will be allowed to stay in Dubai, where Telegram's headquarters is located, for up to two weeks. Durov stated that this trip is for business reasons as well as to visit his son.

"I have a son who was just born, and I missed the first few months after his birth. He still doesn't have a passport because I wasn't in Dubai when he was born. I also have a teenage son who is studying at a boarding school in Dubai, and he injured his arm but has no parents to take care of him."
