Abstract generation in progress

On platform X, Aptos stated that it has been ranked the highest by the Wyoming State Stable Token Committee for the WYST project — the first stablecoin issued by a state in America, backed by fiat. Aptos shares the top rank with Solana, and both will be deployed through Layer Zero infrastructure.

WYST is expected to become a transparent and safe stablecoin, backed by short-term government bonds from the state of Wyoming. The state's governor, Mr. Mark Gordon, previously emphasized the desire to bring the debt back domestically and stabilize the bond market through a state-backed digital asset.

Aptos is currently supporting three USD-pegged stablecoins, with a monthly trading volume exceeding 30 billion USD. This platform stands out for its transaction speed of under one second and fees that are almost zero, approximately 0.00055 USD.

After the GENIUS Act was passed by the American Congress, laying the legal groundwork for stablecoins, Aptos is asserting its role as the leading blockchain for borderless finance.
