Midnight Network, a blockchain focused on privacy and data protection, will issue the NIGHT token for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and other major network users during the launch airdrop. The token system consists of two types and the distribution event "Glacier Drop" has been announced in the 45-page white paper.
During this phase, holders of more than 100 USD worth of native tokens of Cardano, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other eligible blockchains will be able to request NIGHT tokens. Out of 24 billion tokens, 50% is allocated for ADA, 20% for Bitcoin, and 30% for other blockchains. The tokens will not be tradable immediately but will need to be "unlocked" over 360 days.
After the Glacier Drop phase, unclaimed tokens will move to the Scavenger Mine phase, where users can earn NIGHT by providing computing power.
