Web3 security company Salus: Chinese law enforcement has cracked 3 cases of Money Laundering using HyperLiquid, with a strategy structure highly similar to James Wynn's operational path.

On June 6, Mirror Tang (@mirrorzk), founder of Web3 security company Salus, posted on social media that since March this year, Chinese law enforcement agencies have detected 3 cases of using HyperLiquid for cryptocurrency money laundering. At the same time, the centralized trading platform reversely opens a position to make a profit and complete the bleaching of funds. Salus will publish a research paper in collaboration with law enforcement agencies in the future to formally disclose this information. Mirror Tang also pointed out that the structure of this strategy is highly similar to the operation path of James Wynn, a giant whale who recently opened a high-magnification contract and eventually withdrew $100 million in profits. Mirror Tang called on Jeff, co-founder of Hyperliquid, to take the issue seriously, saying that if the lack of current risk control measures is not addressed, there will be a high risk of regulatory intervention.
