According to the Gate News bot, the official announcement from Gate on July 30, 2025:
Gate will launch MinoTari on July 30, 2025, at 20:00 ( UTC+8 for spot trading, with the trading pair WXTM/USDT. At the same time, the 277th HODLer Airdrop event will be initiated, with a total of 3,800,000 WXTM tokens airdropped to users holding at least 1 GT, based on their GT holding ratio.
WXTM is a 1:1 wrapped token of the Tari protocol on Ethereum. Tari is a Layer 1 blockchain protocol built on the Rust language, focusing on expanding the on-chain user base and providing a native application distribution platform. The project has received support from top investment firms including Blockchain Capital and Pantera.
The WXTM token adopts the ERC-20 standard, with a total supply of 21 billion tokens. Of this, 70% is allocated to miners, while the remaining 30% of pre-mined tokens will be used for community incentives, protocol infrastructure, contributor rewards, and investor distribution, and will be gradually unlocked according to a predetermined schedule.
