PANews reported on February 28 that, according to the official announcement of Base, Base has launched a number of new technologies aimed at improving on-chain transaction speed, scalability, and user experience. Among them, the Flashblocks technology has been launched on the Base Sepolia testnet, reducing block confirmation time from 2 seconds to 200 milliseconds, making it the fastest EVM chain. In addition, Base also launched Base Appchains (L3 chain), which provides exclusive Block space for high-traffic applications, improving scalability.
