My impression of traditional Chinese medicine is not very good, as I have had several unsuccessful treatments and had to rely on Western medicine to save the day.
I also personally experienced a female friend's severe burns, her head swollen like a basin, relying on a traditional Chinese herbal poultice, and in the end, she basically had no scars, which can be considered a stroke of luck amidst misfortune. I still have respect for traditional Chinese medicine.
Overall, I feel that traditional Chinese medicine may lack quantification, leading to a huge gap between the skilled and the unskilled, similar to trading in investments, where there are few experts.
