Support children with "Yokai NFT", new charity project with Japan Open Chain

G.U.Group announced on July 29 that an NFT project by the General Incorporated Foundation for Children has started on the public blockchain "Japan Open Chain" operated jointly by Japanese companies.

The NFTs for sale are original digital art pieces inspired by Japanese yokai, priced at 50,000 yen each. Sales started on the 26th.

This project aims to raise funds for the activities of the foundation that supports the healthy development and welfare improvement of children through NFT sales.

The network of Japan Open Chain, which is the technical foundation of the project party, is operated by validators that perform transaction verification and approval. Recently, on July 2, Pacific Meta, which conducts Web3 consulting business, joined the project party, and the current number of validators has risen to 14 companies and organizations.

Participating companies include Dentsu, Pixiv, TIS, and Kyoto University of the Arts, among others, and ultimately aim for an operational structure involving 21 companies and organizations.

The no-code tool "G.U. Token Studio" provided by G.U.Group is utilized from the issuance of NFTs to the construction of the sales site.
