Michael Saylor Returns to the Spotlight: Bitcoin Movements May Be Announced Tomorrow
Michael Saylor, the founder of Strategy (, formerly MicroStrategy), the largest Bitcoin holding company in the world, has hinted that he will buy Bitcoin today as part of a tradition on Sunday. Saylor cited a chart showing that each time the company buys BTC is represented by an orange dot, requesting "more orange" on the chart. This indicates that the company will announce that they will buy BTC, possibly tomorrow. The company may have already made the purchase transaction and will announce it tomorrow. When we examine the statistics, we see that the company currently has a total Bitcoin value of 61.81 billion dollars. Theoretically, the company has earned a profit of 51.89% from these purchases. The purchases were made at an average price of 70,046 dollars and the company currently holds 580,955 BTC.
The strategy announced its final BTC purchase exactly one week ago. Since the BTC price has remained relatively stable since then, we can say that the company has only lost $91.288, or 0.12%, from this purchase.
