Representative Timmons requested the SEC to provide documents on this agency's past approach to Ethereum.
Republican representative William Timmons has requested that SEC Chairman (SEC) Paul Atkins provide documents on how the SEC handled Ether under Gary Gensler. In the letter, Timmons emphasized that understanding the SEC's historical perspective on Ether will help the public and Congress gain a clearer understanding of how previous leaders approached this issue.
