Foreign media: Trump plans to offer Iran a "last chance" proposal, insisting on a zero uranium enrichment red line.
Jin10 Data June 17th - According to the Jerusalem Post, U.S. and European officials revealed on Monday that President Trump is expected to present Iran with a "final opportunity" proposal. One official added that the new proposal may be slightly improved compared to the version submitted to Iran ten days ago. However, it is expected that even with the new proposal, it will still be based on the U.S. principle of "zero uranium enrichment." According to media reports on Sunday, Iran has sought mediation with the Trump administration through Oman and Qatar, attempting to prevent Israeli attacks and restore nuclear negotiations. Saudi Arabia is also working behind the scenes through another channel to push for a ceasefire. Earlier on Monday, Trump confirmed that Iran had contacted the U.S. requesting to stop Israeli airstrikes. "Iran does not seem to have won this war; they must negotiate sooner rather than later," Trump stated in Canada.
