The 214th Ethereum ACDE meeting: Fusaka Devnet 2 is scheduled to launch on June 23.
BlockBeats News, on June 21, according to Christine Kim's summary of the 214th Ethereum Execution Layer Core Developers Conference (ACDE), this meeting mainly discussed: Fusaka upgrade scope, new EIP-7939, including a total of 12 EIPs: EIP-7594 (PeerDAS peer-to-peer data availability sampling), EIP-7823 (MODEXP upper limit), EIP-7825 (transaction gas Cap), EIP-7883 (ModExp Gas Cost Increase), EIP-7892 (Blob Parameter Hard Fork Only), EIP-7917 (Deterministic Proposer Preview), EIP-7918 (Blob Base Fee Subject to Execution Cost), EIP-7935 (Default Gas Limit Set to XX0M), EIP-7951 (secp256r1 Curve Precompilation), EIP-7907 (Contract Code Size Measurement and Limit), EIP-7934 (RLP execution block size limit), EIP-7939 (leading zero-count opcode). Some of the EIP adjustments include: EIP-7951 requires further testing pricing, EIP-7907 contract size limit is reduced from 256 KB to 48 KB, EIP-7918 Blob base cost is reduced from 2^14 to 2^13, and EIP-7892 maximum blob count parameter is merged into EIP-7594. In terms of testing plans, Fusaka Devnet 2 is scheduled to launch on June 23 and requires at least three sets of CL and EL clients to be ready, with some adjustments postponed to Devnet 3 and an extended testing schedule. In addition, Glamsterdam proposes to add EIP-7745 (Trust Log Index) and EIP-7919 (Pureth, Focused Proposal), among others.
