Denmark takes over the rotating presidency of the EU.

Jin10 reported on July 3 that Denmark will take over as the rotating presidency of the European Union starting in July. On July 3 local time, the European Union will hold a handover ceremony in Aarhus, Denmark. The rotating presidency of the EU is responsible for running the EU Council and is held by member states on a rotating basis every six months. The presidency is responsible for advancing the policy agenda of the Council of Ministers and presides over nine areas of the Council, excluding foreign affairs.
