On July 4th, Jin10 reported that Barclays analyst Moyeen Islam stated in a report that the recent fluctuations in long-term UK government bond yields highlight the vulnerability of the UK bond market. On Wednesday, the 30-year UK government bond yield climbed to a four-week high of 5.452%, as investors are concerned about the prospects of the new Chancellor of the Exchequer and changes in fiscal rules.
