GameStop CEO: Buying BTC for hedging against inflation, will not mimic Strategy
Odaily News GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen stated in an interview with CNBC that the company will not follow the Strategy model, but instead has its own unique strategy. Currently, GameStop has a very strong balance sheet with over $9 billion in cash and securities. The purpose of previously purchasing 4,710 BTC was merely to view Bitcoin as a tool for hedging against inflation and global money printing. (CNBC)
