European Commission: will not send representatives to the EU Council meeting hosted by Hungary

On July 15th local time, the spokesperson of the European Commission announced that due to a series of measures taken by Hungary since it assumed the presidency of the European Council, President von der Leyen of the European Commission decided not to send senior officials of the Commission to attend the Council meetings chaired by Hungary, only sending senior civil servants to attend informal Council meetings.
