Cardano's hard fork Plomin is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, transitioning the network to full Decentralization governance.
Golden Finance reported that Cardano's Plomin hard fork will go live later on Wednesday, transitioning the network to full decentralization governance. Prior to the upgrade, the ADA token trading price has experienced a slight pump. After the upgrade, ADA holders will have voting rights to support parameter changes, treasury withdrawals, and decide the future of the hard fork and blockchain. It is reported that the Plomin hard fork requires stake pool operators to upgrade their nodes and pass the upgrade with a 51% vote. As of last week, nearly 80% of nodes have upgraded to the new version.
