Because I started a World of Warcraft gold studio in 2009, I needed to frequently conduct gold transactions with overseas clients, and thus I was exposed to the concept of virtual currency early on and understood its value. I was one of the earlier individuals in China to come into contact with Bitcoin, starting mining in October 2010. However, at that time, its value was not high, and it was treated merely as a game, so I didn’t take it seriously. Later, due to changing computers, I lost over 800 Bitcoins. For the next few years, I did not pay attention to Bitcoin trading. It wasn't until 2016, when I joined a Fortune 500 company, that I got involved with blockchain, participated in the Asia-Pacific FinTech Forum, and gradually realized that Bitcoin could be traded.
I joined Gate.io in 2017 and Gate.io my first exchange. At its peak, I earned 182 BTC and 1,500 ETH in Gate.io, and later lost most of them due to investment mistakes. Gate.io made me financially free and became a KOL in the cryptocurrency circle, and I have also done projects and communities, invested in blockchain projects, co-founded overseas projects, built Ethereum mines, participated in exchange activities, and even opened my own small exchange, which Gate.io helped me start a wonderful crypto life.
