I started getting involved in the crypto world in November last year, and at that time, I was just continuously losing money and got scammed by a shady project. In total, I lost over 400,000, and there was one time I got carried away and lost about 100,000 in one day.
Stable profits only started in early April. There are many lessons, but to sum it up in one sentence: strictly adhere to your own trading discipline.
At first, I didn't intend to lead trades, but my good friends who played together saw me double my profits continuously during those weeks in April and urged me to lead trades. So, I started a private trading group. Later, I found that my win rate was quite good, and I thought about trying to make it public. During this time, some people approached me wanting to build a community. The continuous profits made me get carried away. For the first time, on April 30th, I went long despite the bad news, continuously increasing my position, which ultimately led to a loss. However, before making this trade, I had put in 50,000 USDT, and in the end, my actual loss was 1.6w USDT.
, almost lost 70%, but the followers didn't take the profits, resulting in a total loss. Later, I recovered this trade the next day, but the friends who followed me haven't even recouped half.
Yesterday's long position seriously violated my own discipline of only taking rebound longs, ignoring the support level at 1750 and the bearish expectations of interest rate cuts, and I randomly increased my position. Just when I was about to be liquidated, I could only add margin. At around 10 PM, it spiked to 1750.7, with an unrealized loss of 2.4wu, and my liquidation price was 1750.1. Then it was just watching the market until I was able to break even this morning.
Looking back at April, my profits from trading were largely due to luck. I am not someone who can hold onto short positions, and when faced with a significant pullback, I often incur large losses. I apologize to everyone.
