According to ChainCatcher news, reported by Cointelegraph, the controversial website 4chan has resumed operations after being hacked on April 14. The /Biz/ zone of the forum has always been an important gathering place for the Crypto Assets community and has had a significant impact on the market. 4chan's most notable influences in the Crypto Assets space include the promotion of Chainlink (LINK), which surged from $1.80 at the beginning of 2020 to an all-time high of $49.54 in 2021. Additionally, after the Pepe the Frog meme gained popularity on the platform, the market capitalization of the related coin PEPE skyrocketed from $591 million at the beginning of 2024 to $11 billion.
