Abstract generation in progress

A total of $286 million in net investments was made last week in cryptocurrency funds, including ETFs. According to CoinShares' weekly report, this brings the total net investment amount to $10.9 billion over a consecutive 7-week positive streak. However, due to price loosening caused by market surges triggered by uncertainty regarding U.S. tariffs, the total assets under management fell from an all-time high of $187 billion to $177 billion as of the weekend.

Regionally, the focus of investors has partially shifted away from the US. Nevertheless, the US recorded an inflow of 199 million dollars last week. Germany saw an inflow of 42.9 million dollars, while Australia experienced an inflow of 21.5 million dollars. On the other hand, Hong Kong recorded its strongest weekly inflow since the launch of exchange-traded products, with 54.8 million dollars. Switzerland has become one of the few countries to experience a net outflow since the beginning of the year, with an outflow of 32.8 million dollars.

A First in Ethereum Since December 2024

Ethereum stood out last week with a new inflow of 321 million dollars, bringing the total inflows over six consecutive weeks to 1.19 billion dollars. This marks the strongest series for Ethereum since December 2024, indicating a clear improvement in investor sentiment. XRP, on the other hand, saw an outflow of 28.2 million dollars for the second consecutive week.

Despite starting strongly with significant inflows, Bitcoin funds experienced a small outflow of $8 million over the weekend. Thus, Bitcoin also concluded its six-week net investment series, which totaled $9.6 billion.
