The founder of Slow Fog reveals the midnight hacking scams in the crypto world: targeting OTC U transactions, involving account information leaks and verification code attacks.

[Golden Finance] Slow Mist founder Yu Xian stated that the situation of WeChat account theft is being verified. Attackers use leaked account passwords (various leaked data may be found with some probability), combined with the target user's frequently contacted friends (even those who have only added as friends or interacted in groups), to obtain a 6-digit verification code to carry out the theft. Attackers often close in during the late night, focusing on scams related to U trading in the crypto world. It is recommended to be cautious when adding friends on WeChat, change passwords promptly, and pay attention to WeChat's abnormal login risk reminders.
