The encrypted signature data used to generate privacy-preserving biometric signatures is not stored in China, but is distributed across a cloud infrastructure that complies with local data protection regulations. In markets where the jurisdiction is not clear, we default to the Swiss secure storage solution. We understand that there may be skepticism about certain projects that are considered "domestic projects", and we understand the community's concerns about privacy issues. But Humanity Protocol is a globally operated project with team members and stakeholders spread across multiple continents. We are committed to solving one of the most critical challenges in Web3 and the digital world: verifying a user's "human identity" without compromising privacy."
