Chromia launches a 250,000 CHR incentive test plan for the final sprint before the Mainnet release.

Chromia launches incentive testing program to prepare for Mainnet release

Chromia, as an innovative Layer-1 relational blockchain platform, is making the final preparations for its Mainnet launch. The platform uses a modular framework to provide dedicated application chains, customizable fee structures, and enhanced digital asset services for users and developers. One of Chromia's notable features is its support for natively queryable real-time data indexing, fundamentally changing the way on-chain information is organized, greatly simplifying the end-user experience, and paving the way for the development of new Web3 business models.

Chromia's horizontal scalability enables it to efficiently handle parallel tasks, making it particularly suitable for supporting high-performance gaming applications. The flagship game on the platform, "My Neighbour Alice," is a great example, allowing players to build land in a virtual world, interact with neighbors, complete daily tasks, and earn rewards. It can be said that Chromia's modular framework and relational blockchain technology are expected to fundamentally change the development and usage of decentralized applications.

Recently, Chromia announced the official launch of its incentive testing program. This is a crucial step before the Mainnet release, where participants can earn rewards while contributing to network security. Additionally, participants can use testnet CHR tokens on the networks supported by Chromia and interact with the official Chromia wallet.

The total reward pool for this plan is as high as 250,000 CHR tokens, divided into three independent sub-projects. Each project operates on a dedicated network running a candidate version of the Chromia Mainnet, forming a comprehensive testing strategy:

  1. HackNet (as of June 28): This project is designed for programmers and advanced users, providing the opportunity to explore extreme scenarios and review the Chromia codebase on a sandbox network. The maximum reward is 100,000 CHR, and the collected feedback will be used to refine the Mainnet. HackNet aims to encourage technical users to stress test Chromia's core software and detect edge cases.

  2. ProjectNet (as of July 26): This project is aimed at developers and will serve as the hosting network for the Demo Application Contest. Chromia will award a total of 50,000 CHR to the top three participants. The purpose of ProjectNet is to encourage developers to learn the Rell language and build applications on the Chromia blockchain. Entries can be original works or inspired by or directly adapted from existing applications.

  3. QuestNet (June 18 to August 30): This project aims to encourage new and old community members to explore Chromia and its related application features, promoting interaction with core network functionalities such as the Chromia wallet and specific decentralized applications. The QuestNet prize pool is 100,000 CHR tokens, and rewards will be determined through a series of drawings after the project's conclusion.

Alex Mizrahi, co-founder of Chromia, stated that they are excited to invite users to explore Chromia's innovative platform through this incentive testing program. This is not only an opportunity to showcase Chromia's technology before the Mainnet launch, but also allows the community to make a positive contribution to shaping the future of the Chromia ecosystem.

Through these three sub-projects, Chromia aims to comprehensively test its network capabilities while attracting different types of users to participate in the ecosystem. This incentive testing program is not only to ensure the smooth launch of the Mainnet but also to cultivate an active and diverse community, laying the foundation for Chromia's long-term development.
