CEX CEO: The ban on platform advertisements in the UK has raised follow, and voices for financial reform are hard to silence.
[CEX CEO: Platform advertising ban in the UK has raised concerns, voices for financial reform cannot be silenced] CEX CEO Brian Armstrong posted on X platform, stating, "The ban on our advertisements by TV stations in the UK has sparked strong reactions. If this matter cannot be spoken about, there must be some truth to it." The call to update the system and improve society is not a political statement directed at any political party in the UK (although some have tried to twist it into that). This is not a problem unique to the UK (we have also run similarly themed ads in the US). It conveys a message: the traditional financial system has not worked for many people, and cryptocurrency is a way to improve the situation. In the UK, there are still some people who view cryptocurrency as a form of gambling product (this viewpoint is outdated), completely ignoring the true potential of crypto—that is to update and improve the financial system for everyone.
We welcome these attacks and any attempts to censor this message, as it will only make it spread further.
