According to Shenchao TechFlow news, on August 6, Base confirmed in a social media announcement that it experienced a network interruption lasting 33 minutes yesterday morning, which led to a pause in block production.

Base indicates that the interruption was caused by an automatic switch to a mainnet sorter that was in an abnormal running state within the high availability cluster. The Base team took swift action and switched to a healthy mainnet sorter, after which the Base chain resumed normal operations. Currently, the team has completed a comprehensive post-incident analysis and will share the details of the event, the solutions, and specific measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
