August Crypto Market: Billions in Deals, New Rules, and Coins in the Spotlight

August 2025 has been hot for the crypto market — and not just because of the prices. The main news is that World Liberty Financial, associated with the Trump family, announced a $1.5 billion deal. They plan to pay part of the amount with their coin $WLFI, while the rest will be used to pay off debts. The deal is supported by ALT5 Sigma and has already sparked debate: some see it as a strategic move hinting at Saylor's "Bitcoin strategy," while others see it as pure PR with a political undertone.

Against this backdrop, the US continues to tighten regulations for digital assets. The GENIUS Act, signed in July, tightens the rules for stablecoins: full reserve in dollars or other reliable assets, reporting, and transparency. The goal is to bring the market into the "white zone," but for many developers, this means additional costs and bureaucracy.

Europe is going its own way: BaFin has approved the issuance of the euro stablecoin EURAU, which is already available under the MiCA regulations. Here, the focus is on the integration of coins into familiar financial services rather than on loud political moves.

As a result, August brought three signals: politicians are increasingly entering crypto, regulators are tightening control over stablecoins, and Europe is quietly but steadily building infrastructure for tokenized finance. The market is buzzing, and it seems that autumn will start with new surprises.
