The SEC approves encryption wallet developer Exodus to go public on the New York Stock Exchange.
Cryptocurrency exchange Exodus will list its Class A Common Stock on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) when it opens on December 18th. The approval for Exodus to go public may be attributed to President Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election, as he has promised to make the U.S. a cryptocurrency-friendly country. On April 28th of this year, the NYSE notified Exodus that the review time for its listing would be delayed, as the personnel responsible for the review at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission had not completed the examination of the stock registration. Now, before the end of the year, Exodus is finally able to go public.
Exodus CEO JP Richardson said that listing on NYSE will enhance Exodus' corporate image and increase the liquidity of the company's current assets.
Exodus integrates self-hosted wallets and cryptocurrency trading
Exodus Movement, Inc. was founded by JP Richardson and Daniel Castagnoli in 2015. JP Richardson comes from a technical background and has released over 200 open source code repositories, and has written most of the code used in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency on the internet today. Daniel Castagnoli oversees the creative workflow, supervising Exodus' animation and sound production. Daniel Castagnoli has worked as a designer for Apple, B&W, Disney, Louis Vuitton, and Nike.
Exodus is a platform that integrates self-custodial wallets and cryptocurrency trading. The company's vision is to bring away (Exit) half of the global population from the traditional financial world. The company's name happens to be the same as the Book of Exodus in the Old Testament of the Bible. In the Old Testament story, Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt.
Exodus's service provides individuals with secure and user-friendly applications for self-hosted digital assets, reducing risks through third parties and allowing users to manage their own assets. Exodus's DeFi blockchain technology can be accessed through desktop or mobile devices.
Exodus Mobile Wallet Features
Exodus mobile wallet supports 100,000 cryptocurrencies and 50 blockchains, with built-in staking token functionality, allowing for trading pairs of hundreds of assets. Users can switch between the mobile version and desktop version.
