A Serious Cryptocurrency Move from Donald Trump Came Quietly! Insider Sources Revealed - This Time He Didn't Do What Was Expected!

It has been revealed that a company owned by U.S. President Donald Trump has quietly reduced its stake in World Liberty Financial, one of Trump's most important cryptocurrency ventures, from 60% to 40%.

This change was noticed through careful analysis of the fine print on the platform's website. While no official announcement has been made about the share reduction, the development is considered a new sign that Trump has continued his financial moves behind the scenes while in office.

Donald Trump introduced the cryptocurrency project called World Liberty Financial for the first time in September 2024, during the final stages of his election campaign. It was announced that the tokens sold to investors would not be resold, which brought the project into the spotlight with promises of a "financial revolution." Additionally, it was stated that 75% of the revenues obtained after the $30 million sales threshold would be transferred to Trump and his family.

The Trump family has set up a number of companies to run this project. Trump changed the name of DT Tower II LLC, the company he created in 2016, to DT Marks DEFI LLC. 30% of this company, which was previously owned by Trump, was transferred to his sons Don Jr. and Eric and young son Barron Trump. In July 2024, three new companies bearing the initials of the children were established in the state of Delaware: DJT Jr DEFI LLC, ET DEFI LLC and BWT DEFI LLC.

According to a financial statement published at the end of December 2024, the Trump family's main company DT Marks DEFI LLC owned 75% of World Liberty Financial. However, things began to change at the start of 2025.

Interest in World Liberty tokens exploded ahead of Trump’s inauguration ceremony on January 20. It was reported that sales reached $200 million in just 29 hours. During the same period, changes were made to the company structure, and as of January 24, DT Marks DEFI LLC's stake in the project dropped to 60%.

This change indicated that the Trump family planned a partial exit from the project. It was also confirmed that a financial monitor appointed by a court received information that the Trumps planned to sell a portion of their stake in DT Marks DEFI LLC. However, it is unknown who purchased the shares or at what price they were sold.

In March, World Liberty announced that it had completed a token sale totaling 550 million dollars. Shortly thereafter, a new initiative was introduced: a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. A company owned by the President of the United Arab Emirates agreed to invest 2 billion dollars in a major cryptocurrency exchange using this stablecoin.

On June 5, Circle, a stablecoin issuer not connected to Trump, went public on the New York Stock Exchange. Shares nearly tripled on the first day. This surge indicated investors' interest in the stablecoin sector and led to predictions that World Liberty Financial could reach a similar valuation of approximately 1.7 billion dollars.

After June 8, the information on the World Liberty Financial site changed once again. The Trump family's company, DT Marks DEFI LLC, has seen its share in the project drop to 40%. The details of the sale have not been disclosed again. However, if the company is valued similarly to Circle, the Trump family could have earned approximately $190 million. It is estimated that about $135 million of this is directly attributable to Donald Trump.
