PANews, April 1st news, according to the official announcement from Upcx, unauthorized activities have occurred in its management account, and the platform's UPC deposit and withdrawal operations have been urgently suspended. The official stated that user assets have not been affected, and they are actively investigating the cause of the incident, promising to provide continuous updates on the progress. According to Cyvers Alerts monitoring, the attacker is suspected of controlling the address 0x4C…3583E, upgrading the ProxyAdmin contract and executing the withdrawByAdmin function to transfer 18.4 million UPC (approximately 70 million USD) from three management accounts. The funds are currently still held at the address 0xFf7…334 and have not yet been exchanged.
