Early Bitcoin miners transferred 200 BTC to a new address 12 years ago.
According to Gate.io News bot, data from the mempool shows that an early Bitcoin miner using a P2PK script has transferred 200 BTC from an old Address to a new Address bc1q68…f5jpzf. This batch of Bitcoin was valued at approximately $7,140 twelve years ago, and its current market capitalization has reached $18.64 million.
Emin Gün Sirer, the founder of Ava Labs, previously proposed that the early public key format P2PK of Bitcoin has the risk of being compromised by quantum computing.
