According to Bitu's news and analysis from a data platform, a suspicious transaction involving Meta Pool seems to have utilized the minting function ( ) from an address to mint mpETH without having to deposit actual ETH. The estimated loss is around $47,000, and the stolen mpETH is currently being exchanged for ETH.
