Rekt Capital: There is similarity between 2016 and 2024.
Rekt Capital, a well-known crypto trader, highlights striking similarities between the current cycle and the one following the 2016 halving. In a recent post, Rekt emphasized the "reaccumulation range" below the current price of $61,081 that Bitcoin is trading at. According to Rekt, this aligns with the observed pattern in 2016. Rekt also emphasizes the current position of Bitcoin in the "pre-halving last pullback" stage. Following this stage in 2016, Bitcoin witnessed a significant increase of 48% in just six months. This historical example boosts optimism for a possible price increase in the near future.
However, Cane Island Alternative Advisors' founder and investment manager Timothy Peterson takes a more ambitious approach. Peterson, by analyzing the price decline chart, predicts a potential six-fold price increase for Bitcoin in early 2025. Referring to past adoption trends and previous declines, he astonishingly pegs the peak of this cycle between $175,000 and $350,000.
