Standard Chartered Bank predicts that institutional investment in BTC will "continue to maintain or exceed the pace of 2024" next year. The bank pointed out that since the beginning of this year, institutional BTC purchases have reached 683,000 BTC, mainly through the purchase of US spot BTC ETF and the effective alternative MicroStrategy, a software company that also invests in BTC. Kendrick stated that next year, MicroStrategy's BTC purchases should "reach or exceed the purchase level of 2024". He also added that with the upcoming Trump administration expected to reform the regulations of so-called 'traditional finance' (TradFi) companies on digital currency investments, pension funds should also start including BTC in their portfolios through the US spot BTC ETF from next year.
