The blockchain stats look healthy across the board. Total blocks jumped to 11,825,058 from 11,811,855, meaning 13,203 new blocks got processed in a day. Connected wallets also grew by 2,364, bringing the total to 266,784,522. These numbers show people are actually using the network, not just talking about it.

SHIB (Shiba Inu) Metaverse Gets Major Performance Boost

The Shiba Inu team rolled out some big improvements to their metaverse platform. They've been working on making everything "smoother, faster, and more immersive for everyone" – and it sounds like they delivered.

Three main areas got upgraded: Shib Station, Technology Trench, and Bark Park. The team optimized over 200 texture files, which cuts GPU memory usage by 15-25%. That's huge because it means the metaverse can run better on regular computers, not just high-end gaming rigs.

Users are getting smoother gameplay, lower VRAM requirements, faster loading times, and sharper graphics. Basically, everything that was slow or clunky before should work better now.

What's Next for SHIB

All these updates are part of something called "Optimize the Future" – the team's plan to scale up the whole ecosystem. They're adding a dApp Store soon, which should make it easier for people to find and use apps built on Shibarium. There's also something called the Shib Alpha Layer coming, though details are still under wraps.
